Celebrating Shun Andersen!
From the soil, plants bear fruit again today.
Bread, cheese and wine, all the bounty of nature laid out on the dining table.
Soil is the foundation of all harvests and also contains all the memories which the land went through.
Hiroshima Andersen opened its door for business in October 1967 in a historic building that was originally effectuated in 1925 as the former Mitsui Bank Hiroshima Branch and has since passed through various incarnations.
Over half a century has passed since then. By temporarily saying good-bye to the building full of memories we brought new life in August 2020 to the historic site on the Hondōri Street.
While closely listening to the rhythms of nature that gently flow through every moment of every day, we strive to provide food with the soul of each season and the warmth of Hygge. Hiroshima Andersen will carry on the aspirations of “Shun” (our founder Shunsuke Takaki)
